Live Auction Items

For items included in the Live Auction, only the highest online bidder will be includded (via a proxy bidder up to the maximum amount entered) into the live auction to be held at the AYF Annual Dinner on Saturday 6th April. If no higher bids are received during the live auction on the night, then the winner will be the highest online bidder.

Please note that online pre-bidding for these Live Auction items ends at 11:59pm on Thursday the 4th of April to give us time to verify bidders and prepare the proxy bidder that will bid for them in the live Auction held during the Dinner on Saturday 6th April. After pre-bidding closes, no further online bids will be accepted and you may be out-bid during the live auction with no opportunity to increase your bid. Please take this into consideration when you enter your maximum online bid.

Bidding works like on eBay. So while you enter the maximum bid amount you would be willing to pay, AYF will automatically bid on your behalf up to this maximum. If the item ends for less than your maximum, that’s all you’ll have to pay.

When viewing auction items below, please take note of whether the item is a “Live Auction” item or a “Online Only Auction” item and the corresponding end times.

First Session

Johann Christoph Weigel
Original Hand-coloured plan of the Twelve Tribes of Israel camped around the Tabernacle by Johann Christoph Weigel in 1735. Nearly three hundred years old! This authentic antique hand-coloured plan depicts the Twelve Tribes of Israel encamped around the Tabernacle housing the Ark of the Covenant. The Tabernacle is finely drawn at the centre, drawing our attention to it. Weigel portrays a camp of symmetry and order with the tents arranged in concentric squares. The Levites are in the middle; remaining tribes farther out. While each tribe has its own clearly-defined territory, the foreground is filled with activity in what appears to be an oasis. All work to provide basic necessities is depicted; sowing and reaping, animal husbandry, the sundry activities needed for sustenance of the tribes.
