An exciting opportunity to reach high school students with little exposure to biblical Christianity!

Armidale Youth Futures Inc invites applicants for the position of teacher of Special Religious Education, 4 to 4.5 days per week.

The teacher will teach Years 7 to 10, working as a member of the schools’ academic staff, assist with lunchtime and after-school activities for Christian students and participate generally in serving the school community.

It is essential that the teacher is a committed Christian who is passionate about reaching youth with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, committed to teaching the Bible and seeking to live out the Christian life. Formal teaching and/or theological qualifications will be highly regarded. Successful applicants will:

·        be effective in working within a professional educational setting

·        work at fairly representing the wider Christian community

·        be subject to screening under child protection legislation
